| In 2018, I joined Wattpad as a reader. 2019 when I discovered I could write my own story on Wattpad and not just read. I published my first novel entitled "To Forgive and Forget," Starting there, my journey as a Wattpad writer began. |
| In 2018, it all began with pen and notebook. I started writing novels in my notebooks, and my only supporters were my classmates. I also discovered Wattpad because I accidentally bought a book that caught my attention. Because of that book, I found the two authors who will inspire me to write. The book I accidentally bought is Hell University, written by KnightInBlack. And after a month, I discovered Blue_Maiden, who inspired me to write my current ongoing series. 2018-2019, I discovered that you could write stories freely on Wattpad. |
| 2019, I published my first novel entitled "To Forget and Forgive." 2019, the year I discovered that there are writers, called convo writers or conversation writers. They're posting their stories on Facebook. I got hooked, so I tried to search for more writers, and there, I discovered that you could post your stories on Facebook, too. The same year, I came across Alisonn Swift, and Cael Trios accounts. They're my favorite convo writer. Besides the two of them, I also discovered many RP Brotherhood and Sisterhood who write stories. They became my third and so on inspiration. |
| I made a writing account and named it Zeylee Mendez. 2019 is the year where all my dreams started. I started writing one-shot stories as well as making convo stories. I gained so many friends and supporters. 2020, the year I became proud of myself. |
| I wrote so many short stories and made so many convo stories, too. Not just that, but I also gained so many friends. 2020, the year I introduced my Wattpad account to my friends and supporters. I unpublished my old novel and published a new story entitled "Sign Language." 2020 is also the year I dropped my name as "Zeylee Mendez, the convo and short story writer" I signed off as a convo and short story writer on Facebook. I signed off as a writer on Facebook because I want to pursue my new dream. To be a successful writer like my favorite Wattpad writer. 2020 is the year I published my first series. |
| 2020-2021, I gained more supporters and friends, and I finished the first and second versions of the first installment of my series. I also published an epistolary series. In 2021, I've met so many people who helped me improve and reach my dreams. 2021 is also the year I started the second installment of my series entitled "Bad Boys Series." 2021 is the luckiest year for me so far. Some people said I should try publishing my novels on a paid writing platform. |
| At first, I hesitated. But when some of them said that my stories were worthy, I accepted their offer and invitation. In 2021, I almost gave up my dream as a writer. 2022, the year where I started writing the last version of the first installment of my series, "Bad Boys Series," I also gained so much achievement and good feedback about my novels. I'm also writing six ongoing stories right now simultaneously. |
